Owner and President Bill Ferguson, has an inherent understanding for the construction business.  How he skillfully plans, communicates and understands his customers’ needs and makes their project come to life is partly due to being exposed to industry from a very young age. His inherent understanding was inherited directly from his father Earl.

“Growing up with a father who built his life and business on Lake Rosseau & Lake Joseph enabled me to both appreciate and recognize the many challenges and rewards of building on the lakes in Muskoka.”

In the 1940’s, when Muskoka first began to evolve into ‘cottage- country’, Earl was a plumbing and furnace tradesman.  Out of sheer demand Earl eventually moved into the carpentry trade. The love of working with the customer eventually saw him and his wife evolve the business into Earl Ferguson Construction Inc. To this day, his son Bill runs the business as his father did. Surrounding himself with an established network of construction and supply chain experts that have endured the test of time.

My father taught me a very valuable lesson early in life that…. “a reputation takes 20 years to build and it can be lost in ten minutes if you don’t manage yourself and your business properly.”
